Taz Khan

Director

Taz is one of the directors at Greencoat Nursery. He is passionate about education, a qualified teacher who has worked in a number of schools in Birmingham. Taz is in charge of governance and closely monitors our daily operation to ensure that our practise including our teaching and learning is consistently excellent. He is in on a daily basis and enjoys taking part in the planned activities alongside the kids. Taz holds a master level qualification in education aside from his role Greencoat Nursery he is kept busy as an education consultant and and from time to time manages projects which he is passionate about in the charity sector.

Harpreet Kaur Jalaf

Nursery Manager

Harpreet is the manager here at Greencoat Nursery as well as the designated safeguarding lead and Senco Support. She has over 9 years of experience in the early years sector. Harpreet studied level 6 BA hons in Early Years childhood studies at Open University. Harpreet started off working in a School-nursery/ Reception where she undertook the role of a teaching assistant, then moving on to other nurseries as room leaders, deputy manager and as a manager. For the past 4 years Harpreet has been managing nurseries. Harpreet has also had training in other areas like DSL, fire safety, Risk assessment and leadership and management, Autism, planning activities effectively among many others. Harpreet has had training around SEN and has completed SEND diploma level 3 and 4.

Sunella Anjam

Practitioner and Startwell Lead

Sunella has over 25 years of experience in child care settings. Sunella has worked in various settings from primary schools to crèche’s as well as nurseries and sure start centres. Sunella has a lot of experience with parents and the wider community as she has worked with parents in delivering a course about the nurturing programme in and around Birmingham. Over the years Sunella has undertaken many courses after completing her GCSE’s and A levels such as the level 3 diploma in Childhood studies and first aid. Sunella has also had training in domestic violence and autism.
